LOGO DESIGN

Allan Avendano is a professional makeup artist based out of Los Angeles, CA. He has over 20 years of experience in the makeup and beauty industry and has worked with countless celebrities as well as has numerous TV appearances. Allan is a dynamic person who dabbles in many different styles, so it was only fitting that his logo be able to ebb and flow with his current color and style obsessions.

Going into the brainstorming process, he really wanted a logo that spoke to his goofy personality while still appearing clean and professional. We knew this logo was going on his personal items (vinyl stickers, tote bags, t-shirts) as well as business materials, so it needed to be functional and visually exciting. I opted for a simple smiley face with his brand name at the top, in a fun retro font as a homage to Allan’s love for the 70’s and 80’s. Bold thick lines reflect a lively and confident personality. Two options were important for Allan; one that could be printed, engraved, or letter-pressed onto business related stationery (black and white), and one that would mainly be used on digital platforms. At the time we created the logo, Allan’s color of choice was a light peach color, however we have explored multiple colors over the past few months.
